Iconic Japanese and BBQ restaurants close after decades in business.

Sarashina Horii, an offshoot of one of Tokyo’s oldest soba shops, will close its doors at the end of June, along with Japanese grill Aburiya Kinnosuke and sister restaurant Soba Totto, due to the economy and slow return of business executives from overseas. Meanwhile, Angelina Bakery opens a second location in the Upper East Side, Duck Donuts opens its first outpost in NYC, and Queens-based spice company Burlap & Barrel appears on Shark Tank to expand its business.
