
NASA Worried About SpaceX's Starship Impact on Artemis Moon Landing
A top NASA manager has expressed concerns that SpaceX's path to the first Artemis astronaut moon landing may cause the flight to slip into 2026. With the Artemis 3 mission scheduled for December 2025, SpaceX faces a daunting number of test flights with its Super Heavy rocket and Starship lunar lander before then. The company has launched just one integrated Super Heavy/Starship rocket, which self-destructed before reaching space, and is gearing up for a second test flight, but it's not yet known when that might occur.
