The American Heart Association and the British Heart Foundation caution against cold therapy, especially for those with heart conditions. While some claim benefits such as improved mood and immunity, there is limited scientific evidence to support these claims. Experts emphasize the need for regulation and safety guidelines for cold water immersion activities.
