
Daily tea, chocolate, and healthy foods may lower heart attack and stroke risk
A study by Edith Cowan University suggests that drinking a daily cup of black tea may significantly reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke, especially in elderly women, by lowering abdominal aortic calcification through the intake of flavonoids. Other flavonoid-rich foods like berries, oranges, and dark chocolate may also offer similar benefits, making flavonoids a key dietary component for cardiovascular health.
