Trump Excludes Pompeo and Haley from Future Administration Roles
Donald Trump has announced that Mike Pompeo and Nikki Haley will not be part of his second administration, as he forms his cabinet after winning the presidential election against Kamala Harris. Trump stated on Truth Social that he appreciated their past service but will not include them, focusing instead on loyalists. Pompeo, previously considered for defense secretary, has been critical of Trump, particularly on issues like US aid to Ukraine. Nikki Haley, who challenged Trump in the primaries, was also ruled out. Trump's first major appointment is Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff.
