Nippon Steel Navigates US Tariffs and Steel Deal Challenges
Nippon Steel Corp. has pledged not to import foreign steel to the U.S. as part of its efforts to acquire United States Steel Corp. This comes amid opposition from the union and potential political hurdles following Donald Trump's presidential election victory, as he has expressed intentions to block the takeover.
