Japan Condemns 'Unacceptable' Verdict in 'Comfort Women' Lawsuit

UN accuses EU of aiding crimes against humanity in Libya.

UN-backed human rights experts have found evidence of crimes against humanity being committed against Libyans and migrants in Libya, including women being forced into sexual slavery. The European Union was also faulted for sending support to Libyan forces that contributed to crimes against migrants and Libyans. The investigators called on EU authorities to review their policies toward Libya. The report is based on interviews with hundreds of people, including migrants and witnesses, and wraps up a fact-finding mission created nearly three years ago to investigate rights violations and abuses in the North African country.
