Briton among 19 dead as Nepal tour bus plunges toward Trishuli River
A 24-year-old British man is among 19 people killed when a tourist bus fell about 200 meters (roughly 650 feet) onto the bank of the Trishuli River in Nepal’s Dhading district; 44 were onboard and 25 were injured. The bus was travelling from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Nepal’s Home Ministry has formed a task force to investigate the crash, and the UK Foreign Office is supporting the victim’s family.
