Chicago police have issued an alert regarding multiple armed robberies conducted on Divvy bikes in the city's Loop over the past month. The LOOP builds on the company’s long history of human spaceflight programs, like the ISS Columbus Module, the Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV), and the Orion European Service Module (ESM). The Centrifuge can simulate gravity for two crewmembers at a time, which would be especially useful during missions to Mars since it would help mitigate the physiological effects of microgravity while acclimating the crew to what they will experience on the surface.

A couple visiting from South Carolina were attacked by a group of teens in the Loop area of Chicago over the weekend. The attack was captured on video and has been shared widely online. The couple was cornered and beaten, with the group taking their cell phones and shoes. A woman passing by eventually intervened and took the couple to safety. The couple has filed a police report, but no arrests have been made yet. They remain shaken but still believe the incident does not reflect the city as a whole.
