Uncovering the Unusual Dynasty of Spinosaurus through Early Bones

Early fossils of spinosaurs, a group of unusual dinosaurs with elongated snouts and crocodile-like teeth, have been discovered in Morocco. The fossils date back to the Middle Jurassic period, around 168 million years ago, and suggest that spinosaurs were already a diverse and successful group of predators at this time.
