NASA warns of multiple asteroids approaching Earth at high speeds.

NASA has observed a 590-foot asteroid named 2023 LV1, which will come close to Earth on June 17 at a distance of 3.5 million miles, travelling at a speed of 59,465 kmph. The asteroid falls under the category of a "potentially hazardous object" and even a slight alteration in its trajectory caused by the gravitational pull of a planet could redirect it towards our planet, resulting in a catastrophic impact. NASA uses various technologies, such as telescopes and satellites, to monitor these asteroids and maintain a catalogue of near-Earth objects that are expected to have close encounters with our planet, allowing for the early detection of any potential hazards.

Possible Discovery of Lost Spacecraft in Lunar Orbit.

The fate of the Lunar Module ascent stage, Eagle, from the Apollo 11 mission has long been presumed to have crashed into the lunar surface. However, a researcher has proposed a theory that it could still be in lunar orbit. Planetary radar could be used to detect the spacecraft, which is larger than the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and could be easily detectable. Although the likelihood of spotting Eagle optically seems unlikely, its recovery could provide a wealth of useful information.
