Lucasfilm Appoints Filoni as President, Brennan as Co-President as Kennedy Steps Down
Lucasfilm today announced Kathleen Kennedy will step down after 14 years to return to producing, with Dave Filoni named President and Chief Creative Officer and Lynwen Brennan named Co-President. The leadership shuffle aims to guide the studio’s next era as Filoni leads creative direction and Brennan oversees operations; Disney executives Bob Iger and Alan Bergman praised Kennedy’s legacy and expressed confidence in the new team. Filoni, known for The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, and Brennan, former head of ILM and Lucasfilm Business, will helm Lucasfilm’s creative and strategic path going forward.
