Baldur's Gate TV series heads into production with Mazin at the helm
The Baldur’s Gate franchise is being adapted into a TV series led by Craig Mazin, with Larian Studios not directly involved. The show will take place after Baldur’s Gate 3’s events, drawing on the world’s lore but following new storylines, and Mazin plans to consult with BG3’s cast ideas and have input from Larian as the adaptation moves forward. The IP is owned by Wizards of the Coast (Hasbro).
