The Escapist, a long-time gaming site, faced mass resignations after firing its Editor-in-Chief (EIC), Nick Calandra, for allegedly not meeting goals set by its parent company Gamurs. Following Calandra's termination, Escapist staff members, contributors, and producers announced their departure from the site, including Yahtzee Croshaw, the voice of Zero Punctuation.
