Alaska jogger seriously injured in bear attack near her home
A woman in Kenai, Alaska, was seriously injured after being mauled by a bear while out for a morning jog, dragging her about 100 feet to a neighbor's property. The family describes her as a loving mother and nurse, and she is now on a long road to recovery with extensive surgeries expected. Wildlife officials are searching for the bear, believed to be a brown bear, in the area.
