BlackRock and Citadel to Launch Texas Stock Exchange in 2026
Dallas is set to host the Texas Stock Exchange, the state's first national stock exchange, with plans to begin trading in late 2025 and listing companies by early 2026. Spearheaded by CEO James Lee and supported by significant investments, the exchange aims to become a major financial hub, attracting companies primarily from the Southeast U.S. Governor Greg Abbott's leadership and business-friendly policies have been pivotal in realizing this long-held dream. The exchange will operate electronically but maintain a physical presence in downtown Dallas.
