"James Webb Telescope Reveals Cosmic Web's Earliest Strands"

The James Webb Space Telescope has detected an ancient filament of gas and stars, representing the oldest known thread of the cosmic web. This massive tendril, composed of 10 closely packed galaxies, stretches over 3 million light-years and formed when the universe was just 830 million years old. Anchored by a bright quasar with a supermassive black hole at its center, the filament is believed to have been shaped by the gravitational influence of black holes and cosmic winds. Scientists speculate that it will eventually condense into a cluster of galaxies.
