"International Space Station Welcomes New Crew on Soyuz Mission"

A Soyuz spacecraft successfully delivered two Roscosmos cosmonauts and one NASA astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS) on September 15. This mission was originally scheduled for March but was delayed due to a coolant leak in the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft. NASA and Roscosmos have concluded that the leak was caused by external debris or a micrometeoroid impact. The Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft, which will return three astronauts to Earth on September 27, remains in good condition on the ISS. NASA has also announced the assignment of Tracy C. Dyson to a future Soyuz mission in March 2024, and discussions are underway for extending the "integrated crew" arrangements between NASA and Roscosmos.
