Creating Earth-like Conditions Vital for Human Survival in Space, Study Finds

Humans will need to create Earth-like conditions to survive for long periods in space, according to a new study by American researchers. The study focused on issues such as dealing with gravity and oxygen in space, collecting water, developing agriculture, and getting rid of waste in space. The researchers propose that space mission planners seek to find ways “to recreate the same evolutionary, ecological, networks that make Earth successful.”
