Possible Discovery of Dark Matter Star in Strange Star System

Astronomers have discovered a peculiar star system observed by the European Space Agency's Gaia satellite, which may be a never-before-seen type of star made of invisible dark matter. The system consists of a sunlike star and a mysterious companion, which is much more massive. While one possibility is that it's a black hole, researchers propose that it could be a clump of dark matter particles, known as boson stars.
