Countdown to the Next Total Solar Eclipse: 231 Days and Counting

It has been six years since the "Great American Eclipse" in 2017, and there are 231 days until the next one, the "Great North American Eclipse," which will occur on April 8, 2024. This upcoming eclipse is expected to be even more dramatic, with a totality lasting up to 4 minutes and 28 seconds. Approximately 32 million people live in the path of totality, and there is a lot more awareness and anticipation for this event compared to 2017. Organizers are promoting the hashtag #TakeTuesdayToo to encourage visitors to stay an extra day and avoid traffic congestion. The path of totality will cross through several states in the U.S. and parts of Canada.
