The PGA Tour has struck a $3 billion deal with Strategic Sports Group, creating PGA Tour Enterprises and giving players access to over $1.5 billion as equity owners. The investment group, led by Fenway Sports Group and including owners of various pro sports franchises, aims to maximize revenue for players and enhance golf globally. The deal, unanimously approved by the PGA Tour board, also involves ongoing negotiations with the Saudi national wealth fund and aims to dismiss lawsuits involving LIV Golf, a rival league that has attracted prominent players.

Japan Display has announced a strategic alliance with China's HKC Corporation to co-operate on next-generation technology for displays, using Japan Display's eLEAP OLED technology, targeting mass production in 2025. The two companies will jointly plan and build display-making plants, with Japan Display providing its OLED technology to HKC, but not investing in the new plants in order to earn licence revenues and procure advanced panels without making huge capital expenditure of its own.
