"Severe Weather Strikes Louisville Area: Tornado Damage and Student Knocked Off Feet"

A possible tornado moved through southern Indiana and Kentucky, causing damage to homes, uprooting trees, and knocking down power lines. The storm hit Prospect, Kentucky, and Oldham County, damaging several houses and leaving many without power. In southern Indiana, multiple vehicles were overturned, and 10 people were reported injured. Shelters have been opened for those in need, and officials are urging caution and vigilance in affected areas. Gov. Multiple Tornadoes Cause Damage in Southern Indiana and Louisville.

The National Weather Service confirmed a third tornado in southern Indiana during Sunday's severe storms, in addition to the two already reported in New Albany. One of the New Albany tornadoes continued into Louisville, causing damage in Lake Dreamland. The survey of the damage is ongoing. The third tornado had wind speeds of 90 mph and caused straight-line wind damage in Georgetown.
