Multiple Injuries Caused by Fallen Tree Branch at Santa Rosa Park

Six people were injured, including one woman with possibly life-threatening injuries, when a large oak tree limb fell on a picnic table at Spring Lake Park in Santa Rosa. The group of about 40 people, gathered for a picnic and Bible study, heard a loud crack before the limb fell. One person was hospitalized with moderate injuries, four others with minor injuries, and a 6-year-old boy was among those injured. The incident occurred due to weak limbs caused by years of drought followed by heavy rains.
