The Municipal Court in Prague has ruled the extradition admissible, but the decision is not yet in legal force. Gupta has filed a petition in the Indian Supreme Court, claiming violations of fundamental rights and requesting the Indian government's intervention in his extradition. The Supreme Court has asked Gupta's lawyer to approach a court in the Czech Republic and will hear the matter on January 4.
