Toyota has handed over its St Petersburg plant to Russian state entity NAMI, as the Japanese carmaker stops vehicle production in Russia due to the interruption in supplies of key materials and parts. The plant had been in operation since 2005 and produced the Camry and RAV4 models. NAMI has already taken plants from Renault and Nissan as global automakers leave Russia over the conflict in Ukraine.
