The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled in favor of American gun companies, shielding them from a lawsuit by Mexico that accused them of aiding illegal firearms trafficking to drug cartels, citing the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act which protects gun manufacturers from liability for crimes committed with their products.
