"Link Between Airborne Particles and Alzheimer's Uncovered by AI and Machine Learning"
New research suggests a possible link between Alzheimer's disease and magnetite, a pollutant commonly found in vehicle exhaust and industrial processes. Studies on mice and human neuron cells exposed to magnetite, iron, and diesel hydrocarbons showed increased formation of amyloid brain plaques, behavioral changes, and immune responses associated with Alzheimer's. The findings, published in Environment International, indicate that air pollution may play a significant role in cognitive decline and dementia, shedding light on the environmental and lifestyle factors contributing to the development of Alzheimer's.
