
Bitcoin Billionaire Settles D.C. Tax Fraud Case for $40M
Bitcoin billionaire Michael Saylor and his company MicroStrategy have agreed to pay $40 million to settle a lawsuit with D.C.'s attorney general over allegations of tax fraud. Saylor was accused of falsely claiming residency in Virginia and Florida to avoid paying over $25 million in taxes to D.C. Despite denying any wrongdoing, Saylor settled to avoid prolonged litigation. This marks the largest income tax recovery in D.C. history.
