CDC Stops Distributing COVID Vaccination Cards

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has stopped distributing the white COVID-19 vaccination cards that were given out earlier in the pandemic. The CDC advises individuals to contact their state health department's immunization information system (IIS) to obtain a digital or paper copy of their full vaccination record. While major pharmacy chains like CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Rite Aid no longer require the vaccination cards, they recommend bringing them to vaccine appointments for updating purposes. The federal government no longer requires vaccine cards for entry into the country, but travelers should check with their destination's requirements.
