Nvidia has unveiled its latest high-end chip, the H200, designed for training and deploying artificial intelligence models used in generative AI. The H200 is an upgrade from the H100 and features 141GB of next-generation "HBM3" memory, enabling faster performance in generating text, images, and predictions. The chip is expected to ship in Q2 2024 and will compete with AMD's MI300X GPU. Nvidia's AI GPUs have contributed to the company's stock surge, with revenue expected to reach $16 billion for the fiscal third quarter. Nvidia also plans to release the B100 chip based on the forthcoming Blackwell architecture in 2024.
