Kent County to showcase newly discovered Mastodon bones.

Pieces of a mastodon skeleton, known as the "Clapp Family Mastodon," will be displayed at the Grand Rapids Public Museum as part of the new exhibit "Ice Age: Michigan's Frozen Secrets." The exhibit opens on Saturday and will feature a fascinating array of majestic creatures from the Pleistocene period.
