"Apple Unveils Watch Series 9 in Vibrant (Product) Red Color"

Apple has launched the (Product) Red version of the Apple Watch Series 9, featuring unique watch faces to commemorate World AIDS Day. The new smartwatch comes with a faster processor, improved performance, and an 18-hour battery life. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of (PRODUCT)RED products will be donated to the Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS programs in sub-Saharan Africa. Apple is also donating in-app purchase and Apple Pay transaction proceeds to the Global Fund, and its customers have contributed over a quarter of a billion dollars in the last 17 years to provide access to treatment and testing for HIV/AIDS.

Danaher Corporation has announced an agreement to provide Cepheid's Xpert® MTB/RIF Ultra diagnostic test cartridges for tuberculosis (TB) at cost to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria and less-developed countries eligible for Cepheid's Global Access Program. By reducing the price of the test cartridge to $7.97, Danaher will earn no profit. The agreement expands the partnership between Cepheid and the Global Fund, aiming to improve access to high-quality TB testing in countries where it is most needed. The Global Fund is the largest provider of financing and programs to combat TB globally.
