CBP and Costa Rica on the Verge of Full Global Entry Partnership

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has signed a Joint Statement of Cooperation with Costa Rica to begin negotiations for including the country in the Global Entry program, which expedites entry procedures into U.S. ports of entry. Once finalized, Costa Rican citizens approved for Global Entry will be able to use the program's portals at 85 airports in the U.S. and other countries, enhancing security and expediting their arrival process. CBP has already welcomed 16 Global Entry countries, and the program currently has over 12 million members.
