Chicago Woman Charged for Gas Station Altercation and Crash in Forest Park

A woman has been charged after a verbal altercation at a gas station in Forest Park led to two crashes. Kendra Nance of Chicago was the passenger in a vehicle her boyfriend was driving when they engaged in a verbal dispute with other customers. Nance's boyfriend then exited the vehicle, and she entered the driver's seat as the verbal dispute continued between the two groups. Nance purposely crashed the vehicle into the car belonging to the other group, dragging her boyfriend through the parking lot while doing so. She then fled at a high-rate of speed onto Harlem Ave. at Jackson Blvd. where she was involved in a rollover crash.

Chicago Woman Charged in Gas Station Altercation and Crash

A woman, Kendra Nance, has been charged with felony criminal damage to property, aggravated assault, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident after a violent confrontation at a gas station in Forest Park, Illinois. Nance crashed her SUV into a parked van and narrowly missed hitting two women while dragging a man, who is believed to be her boyfriend. She then tried to flee but was hit at an intersection and her SUV flipped over. No one was seriously hurt. Nance is due to appear in court on Tuesday.

Massive wildfire threatens Thai mountains and residential areas.

Firefighters in central Thailand have been battling a wildfire that spread across two mountains and a forest park. The blaze started during a lightning storm and was whipped up by strong winds. Disaster teams and the army have been working to extinguish the flames, with three helicopters dropping more than 150,000 liters of water over the blaze. Areas near the fire were declared disaster zones, and firebreaks were built to stop it spreading into residential areas. The cause of the incident is being investigated.
