Husband of Bronx day care owner arrested in Mexico after toddler's fentanyl death
The husband of the owner of a Bronx day care center, where a 1-year-old child died after being exposed to fentanyl, has been arrested in Mexico. The man was seen on security video at the day care center on the day the child fell ill. Three other children were also hospitalized. Three individuals, including the day care owner, have already been charged with drug trafficking. Traps containing fentanyl and drug paraphernalia were found in hidden compartments in the day care center. All four children are believed to have been poisoned by fentanyl exposure.
