Arrest Made in Fentanyl Death at Bronx Day Care

The husband of the Bronx day care owner, Felix Herrera Garcia, has been arrested after being seen in surveillance images running out of the day care with heavy shopping bags while children were suffering from fentanyl exposure. He was apprehended in Sinaloa, Mexico, after a manhunt. His wife, cousin, and a known drug dealer have also been arrested in connection with the case. The discovery of narcotics, including a large quantity of fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia concealed beneath a trap door in the day care center led to the charges of murder against the day care operator and a tenant of the building in the death of a 1-year-old child.
