Eric Hovde Challenges Wisconsin Senate Election Results, Refuses to Concede
Republican Eric Hovde acknowledged his loss to Democratic U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin in the Wisconsin Senate race but has not formally conceded, citing concerns over Milwaukee's vote count. Baldwin won by a margin of 29,116 votes. Hovde's claims of irregularities were dismissed by the Milwaukee Elections Commission as baseless. Despite previously promising to accept the election results, Hovde's reluctance to concede has drawn criticism from Democrats and some Republicans.
