International Calls for Eid Ceasefire in Sudan Amid Ongoing Fighting

Massive Fire Engulfs Popular Clothing Market in Bangladesh's Capital.

A major fire broke out at the Bangabazar Market in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on Tuesday morning, which has reportedly gutted around 3,000 shops. No casualties have been reported so far, but the market, which is popular for cut-price Western fashion brands, has been almost completely destroyed. The fire started at 6:10 am and 600 firefighters are working to douse the blaze. The market had readymade garment products worth hundreds of millions, and most of the shops had extra stocks as Eid is little more than two weeks away.
