A California woman with a history of DUI convictions has been sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for a crash that killed a pregnant woman and left her baby in critical condition. Courtney Pandolfi, 44, was under the influence of a drug cocktail when she drove onto a sidewalk, striking Yesenia Aguilar, who was eight months pregnant. Pandolfi had previous DUI convictions and had been warned that she could be charged with murder if she continued to drive under the influence and killed someone.
