India and China have agreed to resume direct flights and enhance trade and investment ties as they work to rebuild their strained relationship following border disputes, with high-level talks focusing on troop pullback, border delimitation, and mutual trust, although no major breakthroughs were achieved on border issues.
Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) will offer a new direct flight to Gulf Shores, Alabama, starting May 22, 2025. Allegiant will operate the route twice weekly, with flights on Thursdays and Sundays. This addition makes Gulf Shores the 26th city accessible from XNA without a layover.

The flights will operate two or three times per week, serving the west coast of Florida. Allegiant also offers direct flights from Bangor to other destinations such as New York City, Newark, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Charlotte, and Chicago.
Breeze Airways launched two new direct flights from New Orleans to Los Angeles and Hartford, with nearly full inaugural flights that took off on Friday. The airline also added 20 new "above the wing" positions in New Orleans. West Virginia International Yeager Airport has announced a new partnership with Breeze Airways to offer direct flights to at least five cities, including Charleston, South Carolina and Orlando, Florida, starting May 31. The new routes are now on sale at introductory fares of $59 and $49, one way. Breeze Airways was launched in 2021 by JetBlue founder and former CEO David Neeleman with a mission to fill a key gap in America’s air-travel offerings: efficient, affordable, direct flights between secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times.
