Airlines have added numerous direct flights from Austin, with more expected in 2024.

Allegiant Expands Florida Routes with New Nonstop Flights

Allegiant has announced a new direct route from Bangor International Airport in Maine to Punta Gorda Airport in Florida, adding to their existing routes to Orlando Sanford International Airport and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. The flights will operate two or three times per week, serving the west coast of Florida. Allegiant also offers direct flights from Bangor to other destinations such as New York City, Newark, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Charlotte, and Chicago.

Breeze Airways launched two new direct flights from New Orleans to Los Angeles and Hartford, with nearly full inaugural flights that took off on Friday. The airline also added 20 new "above the wing" positions in New Orleans. Breeze Airways Expands Service to West Virginia's Yeager Airport and Charleston

West Virginia International Yeager Airport has announced a new partnership with Breeze Airways to offer direct flights to at least five cities, including Charleston, South Carolina and Orlando, Florida, starting May 31. The new routes are now on sale at introductory fares of $59 and $49, one way. Breeze Airways was launched in 2021 by JetBlue founder and former CEO David Neeleman with a mission to fill a key gap in America’s air-travel offerings: efficient, affordable, direct flights between secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times.
