SpaceX's Falcon 9 successfully launched the Northrop Cygnus cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station for the first time, marking the first time Cygnus has launched on a Falcon 9. The spacecraft, carrying 3,726 kilograms of cargo, is scheduled to arrive at the station and be berthed by the Canadarm2 robotic arm early Feb. 1, and will remain at the station for at least 100 days. The cargo includes crew supplies, science investigations, vehicle hardware, and fresh food for the crew.

NASA, Northrop Grumman, and SpaceX are set to launch the 20th Northrop Grumman commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station on Jan. 29, delivering over 8,200 pounds of supplies and equipment. Live coverage will be available on NASA TV, the NASA app, YouTube, and the agency’s website, with prelaunch events starting on Jan. 26. The Cygnus cargo spacecraft, carried by the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, will arrive at the space station on Jan. 31, carrying various research equipment including a surgical robot, an orbit re-entry platform, a 3D cartilage cell culture, an autonomous semiconductor manufacturing platform, and a metal 3D printer. The spacecraft is scheduled to remain at the space station until May before departing and harmlessly burning up in the Earth’s atmosphere.

"Northrop Grumman's Antares Rocket: Final Flight Prep and Live Viewing Guide"

Northrop Grumman is preparing for the final flight of the Antares rocket with Russian and Ukrainian components, as a Cygnus cargo spacecraft is set to launch to the International Space Station. The spacecraft will carry nearly 3,750 kilograms of cargo, including experiments, hardware, and crew supplies. This launch will be the last of the current version of the rocket, Antares 230+, as Northrop Grumman is partnering with Firefly Aerospace to develop a new version, Antares 330, with domestically manufactured components. The new rocket will have increased payload performance and is expected to launch in the summer of 2025.
