Nationwide Salmonella Outbreak Prompts Expanded Cucumber Recall
The FDA has expanded a nationwide recall of cucumbers linked to a Salmonella outbreak, affecting products sold at major retailers like Walmart, Kroger, and others, with multiple companies recalling dozens of cucumber-containing items. The cucumbers originate from Bedner Growers, Florida, and have caused 26 illnesses across 15 states, with some requiring hospitalization. Consumers are advised not to eat the recalled products and to return or destroy them.
