A United Airlines flight attendant reportedly spent over 15 hours on hold trying to reach the crew scheduling department after severe weather and FAA tech issues caused disruptions across the North East. United's CEO blamed FAA staffing issues for the "unprecedented challenges" faced by the airline over the weekend. The Association of Flight Attendants blames United's current leadership for crew scheduling problems and has called for more staff in the scheduling department. United had previously hired more schedulers to prevent similar issues this summer.
