Minnesota GOP candidate halts bid after daughter's fatal stabbing
Jeff Johnson, a Republican candidate for Minnesota governor, suspended his campaign after his daughter Hallie Tobler was found fatally stabbed in St. Cloud. Her husband, Dylan Tobler, was found with self-inflicted wounds and is hospitalized and in police custody; authorities say he is believed to be responsible. The investigation is ongoing, and the Minnesota Republican Party mourned the loss and announced the campaign suspension.
