Gunmen Abduct and Kill 9 Bus Passengers in Balochistan, Pakistan
Gunmen in Baluchistan, Pakistan, killed nine bus passengers after abducting them and earlier killed two people in a separate incident. The attackers, who have not been identified, set up a blockade on the highway, stopped the bus, and took nine passengers with them before killing them. Pakistani police are conducting a search for the perpetrators, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the attack, vowing to punish those responsible. Baluchistan has long been the site of an insurgency, but abductions are rare, and no motive or claim of responsibility has been reported.
