Iran Executes Alleged Mossad Agent for Spying on Behalf of Israel

An agent of Israel's Mossad intelligence service was executed in Iran's Sistan-Baluchestan province for allegedly collecting classified information and providing it to foreign services, including the Mossad. The execution followed an attack by Baluch militants on a police station in the province, resulting in the death of 11 security personnel. Sistan-Baluchestan has a history of clashes between security forces and Sunni militants, with the province being predominantly Sunni Muslim.
