Tropical Storm Jerry Approaching Hurricane Status Amidst Atlantic Activity
Tropical Storm Jerry has become the 10th named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season and is forecast to become a hurricane by Friday, with warnings issued for parts of the Leeward Islands. The storm is expected to turn north and out to sea, but it is causing heavy rain, surf, and rip currents in the Caribbean and U.S. East Coast, amid a potentially active hurricane season.
