Belgium Pledges F-16s and $1B in Security Pact with Ukraine
Belgium has committed to delivering 30 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine by 2028, with the first batch arriving this year, under a new security pact signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo. The agreement, which includes nearly €1 billion in military aid, stipulates that the jets must not be used in Russian territory. This move aims to bolster Ukraine's defense against Russia's ongoing invasion.
