
Midwest Snowstorm: School Closures and Snowfall Updates
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Southeast Michigan, with accumulating snow expected throughout the day. The Thumb to M-59 area could see upwards of 4 inches of snow, while M-59 to I-94 may expect 1-3 inches. The I-94 corridor and south could see 1-2 inches near I-94 and less than an inch closer to the state line. Breezy conditions are expected on Saturday, with warmer temperatures and rain showers returning early next week. Nationally, back-to-back storm systems will bring snow to the northern Plains and upper Midwest, with winter storm warnings in effect for the Northeast.
